Overview
The Configurations pages allow the user to configure options across a number of different areas, including Databases, Composers, Proxies, Domains, Languages, Tenants, and Logs.
Most of the pages in this section offer the following general actions:
Search/Filter - use a search term to find an entry from existing configurations.
Delete - batch deletion of any/all selected items.
Add New - create a new entry on the page.
Refresh - refreshes the page.
Import from Excel - allows provision to import the configuration of one or more entries of the selected configuration page.
Export as CSV - exports the content of a page to a CSV file.
Settings - allows configuration of which columns can be seen on the page.
Go to (or select by page number) - allows moving to another page in case of too many entries for one page.
Additionally, these are the actions on individual entries:
View - views the properties of an entry in read-only mode.
Edit - allows the properties of an entry to be edited.
Delete - deletes an entry.
Add to Transport - adds the configuration record to Transport.
View Properties - views the properties contained in the selected category/group.

Configuration Groups
The Configuration Groups page includes a list of global configuration groups which contain important properties for the different sub-systems of the AO Platform. To see the Properties associated with a selected Configuration Group, select View Properties in the Options menu - see also the Configuration Property page.
Configuration details include properties in the following categories: Configuration Group and General.
Configuration Properties
The Configuration Properties page includes a list of global configuration properties (around 270 at last count) associated with a Configuration Group - for the different sub-systems of the AO Platform. To see a list of Properties per Configuration Group, go to the Configuration Groups page, then select View Properties in the Options menu. Another quick alternative to find Properties for a given functionality and/or sub-system, use the Search bar to search on keywords, such as login, password, CORS, logo, Kafka, Elasticsearch, etc…
Configuration details include properties in the following categories: Configuration and General.
Database Types
The Database Types page includes a list of the out-of-the-box JDBC-compliant Database providers available on the AO Platform: H2, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, Oracle Database, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Apache Hive, CrateDB, SnappyData, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Salesforce, Apache Cassandra, Neo4j, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Oracle Database 12c, and Apache Druid. An entry for a given provider is required before creating a Database in the Connections category for Database.
Composers > Task Categories
The Task Categories page includes a list of the Categories which organize the components (Tasks) in the Composer Palettes, eg. Sources, Transformers, Sinks, and Flow Controls in Pipeline Composer.
Composers > Tasks
The Tasks page includes a list of all the available components (Tasks) in the Composer Palettes - more than 360 in AO Platform 3.1.
Configuration details include properties in the following categories: General and Task.
Composers > Task Property Groups
The Task Property Groups page includes a list of the Property Groups, the organizational structure for all Tasks Properties, available in the AO Platform.
Configuration details include properties in the following categories: General and Task Group Property.
Composers > Task Properties
The Task Properties page includes a list of all the individual Properties associated with Tasks and UI Tasks, available in the AO Platform.
Configuration details include properties in the following categories: General and Task Property.
Composers > UI Tasks
The UI Tasks page includes a list of the UI components that can be added to the Composer Canvas across all Composers - close to 600 in AO Platform 3.1. To view Properties associated with the UI Tasks, select the View Properties entry in the Options menu for each UI Task - also see Composer > Task Properties page.

Domains
The Domains page includes a list of conceptual software domain models, - the basic organizational structure for the various software resources that form a given domain. A domain can be a functional or industry domain for a given solution, a generic system or a common domain, etc…
When creating resources in the AO Platform, such as Pipelines, MSOs, Applications, etc…, they are always associated with a Domain.
Organizations
The Organizations page includes a list of Organizations available on the AO Platform.
Configuration details include a few General properties, such as the Organization name and its Domain space.
Tenants
The Tenants page includes a list of Tenant accounts available on the AO Platform. When the AO Platform is used to host multiple solutions for different Organizations and/or sub-organizations, one or more unique Tenants can be created for each Organization.
Configuration details include General and Tenant specific properties, such as domain URL, customer logo, organization name, and default language. The organization name is created on the Organizations page and multiple Tenants can be associated with an Organization. Finally, a Tenant can be active/inactive.
Languages
The Languages page includes a list of Languages available on the AO Platform. A Language configuration is required for any localization of the AO Platform, including display text in the UI components and date/time and number formats. Any available languages can be associated with the individual User accounts.
Configuration details include General and simple Locale code properties.
Log Levels
The Log Levels page includes a list of Log configurations available on the AO Platform.
Configuration details include properties in the following categories: General and Log specific, such as Log Level and additional status flags. Log configurations can be added for various system/application components, as required.
Data Source Tenant Mapping
The Data Source Tenant Mapping includes the process of linking or associating specific data sources with tenants in a multi-tenant application. This ensures that each tenant accesses only their authorized data while maintaining isolation and security.
