Step 2 - Data Source Type

Overview

Step 2 is the Data Source Type page in the Discover Ontology wizard. On this page, the user can select from one of the many schema-based Data Source Types. Data Source Types include both local and cloud-based, such as PostgreSQL, Apache Druid, Trino, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Excel, Elasticsearch, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Oracle, MySQL, SAP HANA, Jira, Databricks, and possibly many others.

Only those Data Source Types that have been made available to the system will be shown.

Select a Data Source Type

  • Users can either Search for a Data Source Type by name or select the Data Source Type from one of the tiles displayed.

  • Click Next to go to Step 3 - Data Source.
