Solution - Referenced Solutions

Overview

To edit, select a Solution from the list on the main Solution page and click Edit on the Solution Card or in the More menu when in List view.

Once open, select the Referenced Solutions page.

This page allows Public Dashboards from any Referenced Solution to become available in the current solution. This is useful for inheritance-type of use cases, eg. a “master” solution can be created as a foundation for multiple “child” solutions sharing Public Dashboards maintained in the “master” solution.

Add Solution	+ icon		Click to open a dialog from which a different solution can be selected to become a Referenced Solution.
Folder Name	Text Field		Enter a folder name into which Easy Answers Public Dashboards will be added from the Referenced Solution.
Use Ontology of the Referenced Solution	ON/OFF Toggle	OFF	If enabled, the Ontology of the Referenced Solution will be used by the Public Dashboards being added. Enable if the Ontology is different from the Ontology used by the current solution. If disabled, the Ontology associated with the current solution will be used to populate the data in the added Public Dashboards.
Include All Public Dashboards	ON/OFF Toggle	ON	If enabled, all Public Dashboards from the Referenced Solution will become visible in the current solution. If disabled, individual Public Dashboards can be selected.
Select Roles with View Access	Tags Text Field		This option is only available when Include All Public Dashboards is disabled, and therefore, individual Public Dashboards are specified. It allows one or more Roles to be configured to have View Access to a given Dashboard.
