  • Add MSO - opens the Create MSO wizard to add an additional MSO to the Ontology. This option is required if an MSO comes from non-schema-based data sources and cannot be found during the Discover Ontology wizard workflow. See Creating an MSO.

  • Show Suggestions - shows suggestions for enriching the ontology based on the discovery process. Suggestions can come from one or more of the following areas: Relationships, Words, and/or Traits. See Showing Suggestions for Ontology.

  • Discovery

    • Discover Words - creates one or more synonym suggestions relative to the data sources used by the MSOs in the Ontology. Suggestions from the Discover Words process have to be accepted (or rejected) by the solution developer. See Discover Words for Ontology.

    • Discover Relationships - creates one or more relationships between MSOs and their MSO Properties. This will improve the results being returned when asking Natural Language Questions in Easy Answers. Suggestions from the Discover Relationships process have to be accepted (or rejected) by the solution developer. See Discover Relationships for Ontology.

    • Discover Traits - creates one or more associations of Traits based on the data found in the data sources used by the MSOs in the Ontology. Traits can add both functional and behavioral value to MSOs as well as provide auto-visualizations on the Easy Answers Results page. Suggestions from the Discover Traits process have to be accepted (or rejected) by the solution developer. See Discover Traits for Ontology.

  • Advanced

    • Create/Update Graph - creates (or updates) the Ontology Graph which can be viewed using the Ontology Viewer. This is a required step if a new domain Ontology has been created and/or MSOs have been created/updated for the domain.

      • Type - select between MSO, Application, or Pipeline.

        image-20250211-143107.png
    • Create/Update Statistics - creates (or updates) the Statistics for MSOs with Sourcing.

      image-20250211-143244.png
    • Validate - Runs a process to check for inconsistency, best practices, structural, and implementation errors in the Ontology and associated MSOs. View issues found on the Issues page in the Ontology Composer. See Ontology - Issues.

    • Generate LLM Content - generates LLM descriptions for MSOs and MSO Properties and sets default priority for MSOs. Opens a Generate LLM Content dialog to let users select from the radio-button options below.

      • Generate LLM Descriptions for missing MSO and MSO Property Descriptions.

      • Generate All LLM Descriptions (overwriting existing LLM Descriptions).

        image-20241115-070808.png
    • View Tasks - opens a dialog showing the status of any of the Discovery processes. See View Tasks for Ontology.

    • Index Search Store - creates/updates the index for the Search Store to allow easy searching of search terms across various objects in the Ontology. See Search Ontology.

    • Save Ontology As - opens a dialog to save the current Ontology under a new name, thereby creating a new Ontology. See Saving Ontology As.

    • MSO Transport Order - opens a dialog to allow the user to change the MSO order in the Transport package. See Changing the MSO Transport Order.

    • Add to/Remove Transport - adds to (or removes from) the Transport for the Ontology with the complete hierarchy of associated MSOs. See Adding an Ontology to Transport.

    • Export Ontology - opens a dialog to allow the metadata of the entire Ontology to be downloaded to Excel, RDF, or OWL file.

    • Delete

      • Delete Statistics - deletes Statistics created for any of the MSOs with Sourcing.

      • Delete Cache - deletes cache content for Queries and Data Summarizations.

        image-20250213-124155.png
        • Queries > Remove Query from LLM Cache - Queries are not physically deleted from the cache, they are just marked as deleted. This allows the queries to be shown in the history and audit dialogs.

        • Queries > Delete Question - Queries are physically deleted from the cache, including history records.

      • Delete Search Store Index - deletes the Search Index that allows easy searching of search terms across various objects in the Ontology. See Search Ontology.

      • Delete Ontology - deletes an Ontology configuration. The user will be prompted for confirmation.
