Statistics Levels

AO Platform: 4.5

Overview

Statistics is one of the key enrichment options for MSOs, providing great benefits to many operations in Easy Answers solutions. However, for big Ontologies with many MSOs and associated MSO Properties, as well as for large data volumes, generating statistic is can be time consuming. The AO Platform generates statistics in the background; however, to support generating statistics a little at a time, the AO Platform has divided available statistics into three levels.

  • Basic - No ordering, no math beyond counting - for pure counts & simple validations.

  • Intermediate - Require comparisons, ordering, grouping, or derivation - for extrema, derived & statistical aggregations.

  • Advanced - Multi-pass algorithms, probabilistic methods, or domain-specific logic - for statistical modeling, distribution & spatial semantics.

See the table below to understand which statistics belong to each level.
