Overview

The Admin solution is represented by this icon in the Solution menu:

The Admin solution provides system-level configuration options, including configuring users, data connections, security, jobs, monitoring, and other environment-related configurations. Only users with the Administrator granted role permissions should have access to this solution.

Opening the Admin solution

When first selecting the Admin solution, the user has the following entry points to system-level configuration:

  • Admin > Home - a simple landing page for the Admin solution.

  • Admin > Jobs - includes status of and create/edit configurations for Jobs being executed at specified time.

  • Admin > AI Configurations - includes configuration options for AI Models, Groups and Services as well as NLP configurations.

  • Admin > Security - includes configuration options for Users, Groups, Roles and associated Permissions, as well as access configurations for SSO and various integration points.

  • Admin > Configurations - includes configuration options for the AO Platform server, such as Database Types, Composers, Proxies, Domains, Tenants, Languages and Log Levels.

  • Admin > Connections - includes configuration options for all integration points with the AO Platform server, such as Databases, Graph, Search, Messaging and Document scanning technologies, and Cloud services.

  • Admin > Search - includes search configuration options specific to Eleasticsearch and Solr integration.

  • Admin > Message Queues - includes topics configuration options specific to Message Queues, such as JMS and Kafka.

  • Admin > UI - includes configuration options for various UI specific components, such as JS Functions and Files, Maps and Map Layers, Screen Resolutions, Sidebar, Forms, and Email Templates.

  • Admin > Monitoring - includes online/offline status for many integration points, such as Databases, JMS/Kafka Brokerers, Python Services, Elasticsearch and S3 Buckets.

  • Admin > Functional Configurations - includes a large selection of configuration options relating to functional areas of the different sub-systems available in the AO Platform, such as Advisory, Notifications, Expression Engines, Python, Key Value Data, Word Providers/Categories, MSO Traits and Query Functions.

  • Admin > Schema on Read - includes the Schema Definition page allowing Administrators to understand the schema of tables within the AO Platform in-memory system.

  • Admin > Easy Answers - includes pages for configuring and testing both NLP Queries and MSO Queries as used by Easy Answers enabled solutions.

  • Admin > Reports - includes a pivot table on user access over time including Failed and Successful logins.

  • Admin > Generative AI - includes pages for master data configurations used by the various Generative AI functionality in the AO Platform.

  • Admin > Ontology - includes a page of master data for the Ontology Function Helper Mapping.

  • Admin > Customize Apps - includes pages for available options and rules governing the Customize App functionality for MicroApps in Easy Answers.

  • Admin > Audit - includes pages for different Audit records, including User Access to Updates to various Composer objects, such as Ontologies and MSOs, and Easy Answers Dashboards.
